Saw It. Pinned It. Did It. - Magnetic Makeup Board
Excited for another addition of Saw It. Pinned It. Did It. I have had this project in the works for a few weeks. This DIY Makeup Board is helping to clear out my cluttered makeup drawer in my bathroom.

I am always having to move things around to find the one I want to use that day. So my inspiration for this project came from a combination of different pins.

And this one:
The supplies you will need are:

- Flat cookie sheet
- Fabric big enough to cover the cookie sheet and wrap around the back
- Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- Magnets
- Makeup you want to hang
- Ribbon (not pictured)
- Hook or picture hanger
Instructions - Cut your fabric to the size of the cookie sheet with about a 1/4 inch around to allow for it to wrap around the back. You can use spray adhesive or your glue gun and glue the fabric to the back. Pull tight to make sure the fabric lays flat.

Fold over the corners and get them really flat.
Next glue your magnets to the back of your makeup tins that you want to hang on your board. Now this is where I give you my super secret, I failed my first attempt at this project. I bought some cheapo magnets from the craft store and when I glued them and attached them, the makeup slid right off the board. So I did a little more research and bought Neodymium magnets from Etsy. Neodymium is just another fancy word for wicked strong magnets. :) These suckers would not budge and when they get even somewhat close together they "jump" together. I got a set of 50 for only $7.00 on Etsy.
Before I cut my ribbon I hung my hook and decided how long I wanted the board to hang. Glue your ribbon to the back, hang and enjoy!!
I used a command hook just to get it up, but will be changing to a more decorative hook soon. What do you think? Better than the draw so full I couldn't find anything. I think so.
